I was referred to Maura Bailey after my father had a fall and suffered a fractured femur. After an extended recovery in a rehab facility ( during the beginning of the Covid pandemic), we wanted to bring him home early due to Covid concerns but we were clueless on how to make this happen safely. Maura first came to the rehab facility (right before they restricted visitors) and conducted her initial assessment of his needs and the level of care he would need at home. She provided us with referrals for home care. She also visited the home and gave us a list of suggestions on home modifications to make his transition easier. We implemented all of her suggestions and his transition to home went very smoothly. Her energy, kindness and professionalism were exactly what we needed during that difficult time. She helped us be confident that we could help him recover at home. My father had a great connection with Maura and he was always lifted after her visits because her positivity was so contagious!
